Job Summary
My Family Steam Cleaning is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team. This position is Part Time and the schedule will be similar to the following expressed hours: Friday and Saturday 8AM - 7PM, Monday and Tuesday 2PM - 8PM. Extra hours may be available on an as needed basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality carpet cleaning services to both residential and commercial clients. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness and customer satisfaction, ensuring that all carpets and flooring are maintained to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform carpet and area rug cleaning using various methods and equipment, including steam cleaning and dry cleaning techniques.
- Conduct thorough inspections of carpets and flooring to identify stains, damage, or areas needing special attention.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas by ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and cleaned after use.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating cleaning equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with the Lead Carpet Cleaning Technician and Area Rug Cleaning Supervisor.
Skills
- Experience in carpet cleaning, commercial cleaning or environmental services is preferred.
- Proficiency in carpet cleaning techniques and floor care practices.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering clean results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with custodial duties, including the proper use of cleaning agents and equipment.
