What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness instructor/Teacher position at My Gym Children's Fitness Center?
My Gym Children's Fitness Center in Plantation is now seeking enthusiastic, outgoing and dedicated individuals with strong communication skills and a genuine love of children. We like to work hard and play hard! You will find that My Gym is a fun, exciting, and extremely rewarding work environment.
You will be teaching indoor gym classes for children 6 weeks to 11 years old. Those with backgrounds in sports, gymnastics, general fitness, theater, physical education, child development, etc. typically do very well at My Gym. The position requires a patient, fun and engaging attitude, since it involves working with youngsters of all ages and levels of ability. A teaching credential is not required.
My Gym is open 7 days a week, so weekend shifts might be required. Monday morning availability is also required for our mandatory weekly staff meeting. Both part- and full-time positions are available.
