Clinical Operations Director-South Florida (Ft Pierce, Port St Lucie, Coral Springs, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte)
Leading operator of primary care health centers seeks a hands-on autonomous director to direct the day-to-day clinical operations for 6 health centers, 4 Health Center Managers in Ft Pierce, Port St Lucie, Coral Springs, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda md Port Charlotte.
Candidate must have a clinical background as a LPN or RN and assume a role as a mentor and leader for all direct reports. Guide and coach an experienced and collegial team to achieve results together. Assume the role of lead client liaison and maintain an effective client relationship that delivers with a continuity of care and effective client solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and vendors
- Engage in face-to-face client meetings and with clinical staff to review Key Performance Indicators
- Assess operational progress and seek client feedback
- Manage staff optimization to positively impact quality of care and overall patient experience
- Coordinate and manage various client requests and events such as physicals, flu shots, VHPs, etc
- Interact with Human Resources and Recruitment through the hiring, onboarding, and retention of new staff.
- Oversee the development and engagement of training initiatives, performance evaluations and succession planning
- Nurture an environment of collaboration, professionalism, quality of care and continuous improvement
- Monitor and enforce clinical policies and procedures to ensure patient and employee safety
- Participate in the development of strategic goals and objectives to align with company policies
- Maintain responsibility for the control of planning, budgeting and staffing assigned health centers
- Comply with budgets and manage schedules to adhere with company requirements
- Propose ideas and methods in anticipation of new business needs
- Monitor and safeguard compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of five-years of healthcare management experience
- Clear/active LPN or RN license with the Florida Board of Nursing
- Regular travel between health centers and nearby locations
- Strong preference for multi-site management experience
