We are looking for a team member that would like to join a 5-star company with over 30 years' experience in the industry. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and water efficiency for various landscapes.
Duties
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, including trouble shooting controller issues, drip lines, sprinkler systems, and pumps.
- Perform regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or clogs.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation and repairs.
- Operate machinery for digging trenches and laying pipe.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper irrigation practices are followed.
- Provide recommendations for landscape improvements based on water usage and plant health.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding water usage and irrigation practices.
- Has a clean driving record
Experience
- Familiarity with various power tools and hand tools used in irrigation installation and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with irrigation systems.
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as needed.
- Knowledge of plant care requirements related to irrigation is a plus.
- Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
