We are expanding our operations and seeking to grow our team. We have an opening for a Network Engineer to join our Service Delivery Team.
Network Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be Fanatically awesome all the time!
- Be an active advocate for customer satisfaction
- Provide technical excellence t for systems, software, and hardware
- Document/Update internal Kb’s, SOP’s, Wiki’s
- Ask educated questions and listen to customers to determine the root cause of issues
- Work through the problem-solving process with customers, empowering them to do the same in the future
- Participate in training incoming staff
- Report significant and recurring issues
- Participate in the After Hours Escalation on-call rotation
Network Engineer Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in an MSP environment
- Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks
- Proficient in network monitoring tools (e.g Auvik, Labtech, ScreenConnect, PrinterLogic, Huntress, SentinelOne)
- Experience managing multi-client, multi-site networks with a focus on performance and security
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)
- Ability to implement and maintain secure, scalable networks for clients
- Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot remotely
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex issues to non-technical clients
- Familiarity with managed services platforms (e.g., ConnectWise)
- CCNA required, CCNP preferred
- Experience with SD-WAN, cloud networking (AWS, Azure), and hybrid environments
- Strong background in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Knowledge of service-level agreements (SLAs) and client support expectations
