My Kids Childcare Inc. is seeking a fun energetic candidate for our School Age Program! No previous experience necessary! Come as you are and we will train you! This position is part time with option for full time. We are looking to staff our School Age Program between the hours of 2:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday (NO WEEKENDS!!!) Typical day involves supervising kids as they go through the daily schedule and activities. Interacting with children, being there for their emotional needs, modeling good behavior and keeping it fun! This is a position for anyone who has a genuine love of children and truly enjoys interacting with them. This position is excellent for entry level staff looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of early childhood education (ECE). Ideal candidate would be someone who can relate and understand what they are going through. Willingness to train in bus driving a plus! Must be able to provide a physical and background check (BCI & FBI). We are excited and looking forward to hiring and traning our ideal candidate!

•Model relationship-building skills in all interactions
•CPR, First Aid, training within 90 days of hire date
•Complete ODJFS Child Care Staff Orientation within 30 days
•Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds
•Afternoons, Approximately 20-40 hours per week
•Provides a quality experience to children and parents focused on MKC core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring
•Supervise a group of children and actively engage in activities with children
•Participate in planning and implementing program activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate and consistent with MKC values
•Adhere to program standards including safety and cleanliness standards
•Attend staff meetings and trainings
•Follow MKC policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies
•Maintain positive relations with parents and other staff
Salary : $13 - $17
