About the Role
This leadership position is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing sales and revenue management strategies across the My Place Hotels portfolio. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee revenue management and sales strategies to maximize revenue at both the individual hotel and chain levels.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to uncover new business opportunities and generate leads within assigned market segments.
- Organization and accountability of sales efforts through CRM systems and other tools.
- Conduct ongoing market research to understand competitive positioning, economic development, and emerging trends to refine strategies.
- Provide continuous communication and collaboration with individual hotels, ensuring alignment with market insights and revenue opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers, ensuring timely responses to sales opportunities.
- Partner with General Managers to manage local hotel events and initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Mentor and guide sales and revenue teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, revenue management, or business development within the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated success in one or more of the following market segments: sports, medical, education, construction, transportation, or consortia.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and B2B sales processes.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional with a commitment to achieving goals.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises the National Sales Representatives, Revenue Management Strategists, and the associated teams.
Work Environment
The job operates in a professional office environment as well as on the road. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and other customary office equipment. This position also requires travel including but not limited to air and vehicle travel.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role with travel required.
Travel
This position requires up to 75% travel. Extended and weekend travel are sometimes required.
