Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. The FNP will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and will have the opportunity to engage in various specialties including urgent care, senior care, and esthetic treatments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide patient care.
- Provide urgent care services as needed, managing acute illnesses and injuries.
- Administer esthetic laser treatments and other procedures as required.
- Engage in utilization review processes to ensure appropriate patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Athenahealth systems for coding and documentation.
- Manage airway management protocols for patients requiring such interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Experience
- Previous experience in urgent care or emergency room settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with senior care practices is a plus.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in coding and documentation practices within electronic health record systems is essential.
- Knowledge of esthetic laser treatments is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds are crucial for success in this role.
