We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform medical procedures such as IV insertion and airway management as necessary.
- Manage acute pain management protocols for patients requiring immediate care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using systems like Cerner while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Participate in outpatient care, including follow-up visits and ongoing health monitoring.
- Stay current with best practices in critical care and other relevant medical fields.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Experience in coding, medical records management, and familiarity with Cerner software is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in acute pain management, critical care, gastroenterology, and airway management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per week
