The Vice President of Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end revenue cycle, business operations, and administrative functions of the organization. This executive role ensures seamless financial and operational performance by integrating data-driven decision-making, AI-enhanced analytics, and process automation into revenue cycle management. Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Cycle Leadership & Strategy

• Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, from patient registration and insurance verification to claims submission, reimbursement, and collections.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue capture, reduce denials, accelerate cash flow, and improve payer reimbursement rates.

• Utilize AI, automation, and predictive analytics to improve claims accuracy, enhance collections, and minimize revenue leakage.

• Ensure compliance with payer contracts, healthcare billing regulations, federal and state laws, and coding standards.

• Identify and execute process improvements that drive efficiency, enhance patient billing experiences, and improve financial outcomes.

• Align revenue cycle goals with broader organizational growth and financial strategies in collaboration with the CFO and COO.

Data Analytics, AI Integration & Quality Monitoring

• Implement and oversee advanced business intelligence tools (Power BI, Snowflake, Excel, AI-driven analytics) to track revenue cycle performance, financial metrics, and operational efficiencies.

• Develop and manage real-time dashboards, reports, and predictive models to identify trends, forecast revenue, and mitigate risks.

• Leverage AI and machine learning technologies to streamline claims processing, automate denial management, and optimize payer contract performance.

• Establish and track KPIs for claims accuracy, collections, accounts receivable, and reimbursement efficiency, using data insights to drive continuous improvement.

• Implement quality monitoring systems to ensure claims submission accuracy, compliance, and workflow optimization.

• Work with IT and Finance teams to integrate revenue cycle technology solutions, enhancing automation and data transparency.

Administrative & Business Operations Leadership

• Lead key administrative functions, ensuring streamlined operations across revenue cycle, finance, patient billing, and compliance.

• Oversee the development and enforcement of organizational policies, workflows, and SOPs to drive standardization and efficiency.

• Collaborate with the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting, payment posting reconciliation, and month-end close processes.

• Manage vendor relationships for billing systems, EHR platforms, and revenue cycle technologies, ensuring cost-effective and scalable solutions.

• Evaluate and optimize patient financial engagement strategies, improving communication around billing, payment plans, and financial assistance programs.

Executive Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing revenue cycle and administrative team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Serve as the executive liaison between revenue cycle operations, finance, IT, and clinical teams to enhance cross-department collaboration.

• Regularly report revenue cycle and operational performance to the executive team and Board, providing strategic recommendations for growth and efficiency.

• Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, AI advancements, and payer policy changes, positioning the organization for long-term financial success.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven leadership experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare finance, and administrative operations at a senior or executive level.

• Expertise in healthcare reimbursement, payer contracting, compliance regulations, and financial performance analysis.

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Snowflake, Excel, and AI-driven analytics for revenue cycle performance tracking and decision-making.

• Experience integrating AI, automation, and machine learning into revenue cycle and financial operations.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and implement strategic initiatives.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and executive leadership skills.
