What are the responsibilities and job description for the AutoCAD Drafter position at MY RECRUE?
Responsibilities
- Prepare joist and deck layout plans and sections using AutoCAD
- Prepare RFI’s and coordinate project details with customers, steel detailers, engineers and others
- Calculate joist and girder loading based on design loading provided on contract documents
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, production driven environment
Qualifications
Required
- Fluent with AutoCAD and Tekla
- Ability to visualize how elements fit together in 3D when working with 2D drawings
- CAD related degrees and/or experience
- Low-rise commercial and warehouse exp.
- Steel exp.
- Prior structural and/or joist detailing experience
- Need to have Specific experience in the Steel Joist industry
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.42 - $30.10 per hour
