Role: Sr. Data Modeler
**Candidates need to be local to Cleveland OH, or open to relocating to the area
Location: Cleveland, OH – 3 days onsite
Yrs. Of experience looking: min 12 yrs.
Must haves: #datamodeling, #Erwin, #logicaldatasets
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) or in lieu of a degree
- At least 12 years in experience in the field of Information Technology or Business (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of Information Technology or Business).
Must Haves:
- 5 years IT or business analyst experience.
- Demonstrated business acumen in manufacturing, sales or financial verticals
- Experience with data governance: business glossary, data standards, data catalog and data lineage.
- Experience with data management: data engineering, data quality, metadata and master data management.
- Experience establishing, maintaining and improving processes and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex business relationships.
- Strong ability to multi-task with several concurrent issues and projects.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience advising or mentoring others regarding data modeling and data mapping.
- Exposure to API design and development is preferred.
- Exposure to relational, dimensional, or semantic data modeling practices is preferred.
