  • Develop, plan, and organize sales strategies to achieve desired revenue targets.
  • Develop a networking list of potential clients and consistently contact them through phone, email, and visits.
  • Penetrate at the strategic level to diversify the client base to include industrial, traditional, and nontraditional accounts.
  • Serve as the company “expert” on each assigned account and serve as liaison to facilitate all efforts to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Create value with safety initiatives in alignment with clients and MYCON.
  • Prepares and presents approved contracts/lease agreements to assigned accounts and effectively communicates to MYCON staff.
  • Prepares sales plans, expenses, daily calls, and sales reports.
  • Maintains records of sales or other business transactions.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Expert knowledge of construction equipment and the rental industry.
  • Expert knowledge of selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales.
  • Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long-term business relationships.
  • Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Driven and results-oriented; business development, KPIs, and market expansion to meet corporate targets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization
  • First-class organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, deadline-oriented
  • Understands written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents, and communicates effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization and customer operations.
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
