Subaru South Tampa is looking for new Sales Consultants to join their team!
The purpose of this role is to sell dealership’s brand and pre-owned inventory vehicles. They are to generate sales of new and pre-owned dealership vehicles while maximizing company’s profitability. Understand and demonstrate vehicles’ capabilities and features. Develop and maintain customer relationships for future sales and service needs. The ideal team member has strong communication skills (BI-LINGUAL is a bonus), a high level of self-confidence, basic computer skills, and exceptional organizational skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Always display a professional demeanor, appearance and work ethic.
- Self-starter and self-motivated.
- Keep current on all dealership product(s) knowledge as well as our competitors’.
- Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships (before and after sales.)
- Maintaining a customer database and communicating with them utilizing our CRM software.
- Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets.
- Taking customers on test drives and demonstrating vehicle features.
- Maintain (at a minimum) or exceed established sales goals and 100% on surveys.
- Maintain valid driver’s license.
- Follow all established company and department policies and procedures.
- Acceptable attendance is mandatory.
- Must be able to work all required hours, including extended hours for events, when necessary.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Department Head.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to deliver vehicles to customers (some traveling)
- Assist customers in moving items from one vehicle to another (may involve bending, lifting, stooping, reaching)
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Able to move around lot to show inventory to customers
- Exposure to outside weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of intermediate level of knowledge/experience with computer and Microsoft applications.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic mathematical and finance skills
- Function well within a teamwork environment and with all other departments / staff
- Ability to learn and retain brand and product knowledge

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education or coursework desired
- Self-motivated
- Able to hold yourself accountable and achieve goals with limited direct supervision
- Professional appearance and confident phone voice/skills
- Basic computer skills
- Valid Drivers License
