Myers Commercial Real Estate (CRE), formerly known as the Gary Myers Company, has been selling/ leasing/buying commercial real estate in Memphis for over 40 years. Our team is excited to bring on a Business Development Manager who will be our "first face" of customer service in the office, answering phone calls, priming potential leads, and managing our virtual social media/marketing plans. This is a full-time position with a base salary but offers paid incentives for qualifying warm leads sent to our agents that result in closed deals. The primary office will be in one location in East Memphis. The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation with insurance in order to run office errands, such as taking pictures of commercial properties and placing signs in windows. The opportunity for advancement would be a full-time a commercial real estate career as affiliate broker, if desired.

Responsibilities include:

Lead Generation

  • Track incoming calls; return voicemails, text messages, and emails
  • Speak with company-generated leads, generate your own leads, conduct initial conversations to qualify a prospect (then send it on to relevant agent), build relationships with referral sources
  • Provide various levels of customer service by maintaining continuous positive communication between clients and brokers
  • Service Existing Leads: Contact current clients, investors through phone, text, and in-person meetings with the goal of turning a prospect into a client.
  • Generally, explain how leasing works with prospects, referral sources, and through marketing efforts with the goal of creating a 'warm list' of qualified leads.
  • Assist with managing social media campaigns and creating client presentations
  • Foster and maintain relationships in the Realtor and Investor community.
  • Attend weekly Broker meetings to ensure regular internal communication with our Brokers so all agents are currently on the status of prospects.
  • Track marketing budgets and track related expenses for assignments

Administrative

  • Type documents and take notes
  • Create and maintain electronic files
  • Visit sites to take photos, tape signs, pick up business documents, when needed
  • Manage virtual assistant with implementation of property marketing strategies and advertising campaigns
  • Coordinate limited on-site events for clients and the brokerage community and manage RSVP lists
  • Update contacts and internal CRM as needed (Wise Agent System Experience Encouraged)
  • Assist other staff members with special assignments/projects as necessary

Required Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years Administrative or Customer Service Experience
  • Licensed Real Estate Professional (Preferred, but not required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Strong organization and proofreading skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines. Must be able to manage confidential projects
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
  • Experience with Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Pages preferred
  • Must be professional with a strong work ethic
  • Highly motivated to succeed in a corporate structure in the real estate profession.
  • Must have ability to work independently and as a member of the team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends

Supplemental Pay:

  • Commission pay
