Lead Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to receive and ship inventory to customer locations, as well as process and maintain all documents related to the shipping and receiving department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory by tracking materials in the ERP system; checking and receiving the inventory; processing paperwork; stocking inventory in designated shelving locations.
• Prepare orders ; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area, and delivering product to customers when needed.
• Maintain an open line of communication with Customer Service Representative in areas concerning shipping/receiving. Notify CSR’s when orders are ready for hand carrying by the salesmen, and report any damages or defects that are found during product inspections.
• Organize space in the warehouse for maximum efficiency, perform cleaning duties as needed, and assure that the warehouse facility is maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
• Make local deliveries in company vehicle as needed.

Requirements:

- Experience working in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capability to lift and move heavy items safely
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
