Duties
- Load and unload goods from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory by keeping track of stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Operate cranes and other machinery as needed to assist with heavy lifting tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and packing.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
