What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Foreman position at Myers Incorporated?
Duties:
- Supervise and lead a team of landscape workers in performing various tasks
- Coordinate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide recommendations
- Oversee the care and maintenance of trees, shrubs, and gardens
- Ensure that all work is completed according to specifications and within deadlines
- Train new employees on proper landscaping techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies and request replacements as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscaping techniques
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
