Description
Myers Park Country Club is looking for a motivated Pickleball Professional that wants to join a growing club and dynamic team. As a pickleball professional at MPCC, you are responsible for providing an excellent experience for the membership and their guests through high level instruction, facilities support, and customer service.
Requirements
- Provide daily pickleball instruction for membership, including private and semi-private lessons, drills and clinics, and special events
- Assist Director of Racquets with various competitions/tournament planning, oversight, and execution
- Help with seasonal court projects and/or inclement weather court preparation as needed.
- Always ensure a professional environment for the Club and its members
- Must be available to work scheduled tournaments throughout the year
Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in teaching pickleball to all levels of players
- Highly proficient pickleball playing skills
- PPR, RSPA, or equivalent certifications
- Open availability, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Work outside year-round in all weather conditions (light/dark, hot/cold, humid/dry, etc.)
- Full mobility of upper and lower body
- Long periods of strenuous activity including standing, running, and walking on various surfaces
- Ability to lift, move, and/or carry up to 50 pounds, as well as carry out various functions that may require pushing, pulling, kneeling, and reaching
