Director, Product Management

As a Director of Product Management at MyFitnessPal you will build products for our customers and enterprise partners. For our customers, you will create engaging experiences that help them reach their goals. For our enterprise partners, you will build products that enable them to enroll, manage, and incentivize their users to achieve better health and business outcomes. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Lead a team of Product Managers, responsible for building and iterating on MyFitnessPal’s enterprise and customer-facing products
• Develop product management talent and contributing to a thriving culture where Product Managers can grow in their careers and feel a strong sense of inclusion and belonging
• Own and develop the product strategy and roadmap. Communicating commitments and updates to partners frequently
• Be accountable for the performance of the team’s product experiences, including impact to the business and our customers
• Meet or exceed critical business metrics (KPIs) and consistent execution against quarterly/annual goals and communicate progress and impediments to senior leaders
• Champion the product operating model by using a variety of qualitative and quantitative tools to discover solutions that are valuable for customers and the business and delivering high quality products to achieve goals
• Contribute to MyFitnessPal’s Product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive both short- and long-term impact

Qualifications to be successful in this role: 

• 10 years of leadership experience in Product Management
• A clear record of leading teams to deliver impactful products in collaboration with Engineering, Product Design, Analytics, Marketing, and other functions
• Demonstrated experience leading high-velocity teams that have measurable impact on customers and the business
• Experience working in the product operating model quickly validating hypotheses through a range of testing tactics
• Ability to effectively prioritize and make appropriate tradeoffs between long term investments and short-term wins
• Experience leading consumer-facing product development work focused on native iOS and Android apps
• Strong bias to action, and proven ability to make decisions quickly using a variety of inputs
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills

Bonus Points:

• Experience working on SaaS products
• Experience developing products in the health, wellness, or exercise space

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at MyFitnessPal ranges from $173,000 - $221,000. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, MyFitnessPal offers a wide range of comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, parental planning, mental health benefits, annual performance bonus, a 401(k) plan and match, responsible time off, monthly wellness and technology allowances, and others.
