MyFreightWorld Inc. – Business & Credit Analyst Job Description
Summary:
We are looking for a talented, driven analyst to learn about the transportation industry and play a key role in several of our key Finance and Business processes. This individual needs to be detail oriented, hardworking, reliable, and able to think outside the box and strive to help the Company improve the efficiency of Finance and other Business processes.
Company Info: Our expertise in the transportation industry dates back more than 20 years in Less than Truckload and all modes of Truckload services. We provide logistics solutions for various customers, ranging from large national companies to smaller independent businesses.
Duties
- Financial Analysis of weekly and monthly results, reviewing Key Performance Indicators
- Manage customer invoicing process
- Research credit ratings of customers to determine creditworthiness
- Analyze vendor and customer pricing
- Prepare reports for clients and the management team
Projects – Assist with:
- Automation of AP process utilizing Transportation, Accounting, and AP software
- Automation of vendor invoice auditing and documentation retrieval
Desired Range of Experience: 0 – 4 years of experience
- Finance, Accounting, or other business degree preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Self-starter, self-motivated, strong desire to learn new skills and think critically
- Ability to learn/navigate various software and systems
