Job Description
Organon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our offices across Canada, the USA, and Latin America clusters. The Facilities Manager will ensure that all facilities are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and local regulations. The employee will also monitor Founder experience including items requiring urgent attention and report back on office readiness. The selected candidate will report directly to the Global Head of Real Estate and Facilities Services.

Job Description
Organon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our offices across Canada, the USA, and Latin America clusters. The Facilities Manager will ensure that all facilities are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and local regulations. The employee will also monitor Founder experience including items requiring urgent attention and report back on office readiness. The selected candidate will report directly to the Global Head of Real Estate and Facilities Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Facility Operations: Oversee daily operations of all Organon offices in the designated regions, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional work environment that is fit for purpose.
- Maintenance Management: Understand, develop, monitor and implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure according to Landlord responsibility and Integrated Facilities Management or Co-Working resulting duties.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
- Workplace Experience: Develop employee satisfaction performance indicators and monitor improvement plans including resolution time tracking
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Space Planning: Coordinate office space planning and allocation to optimize the use of available space and support business needs.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Implement and promote sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of facilities operations.
- Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring preparedness for any potential emergencies or disruptions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of facilities staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Data Insights: Support and provide strategy direction via data driven decision making
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in Facilities Management preferred but not compulsory (e.g., IFMA, BOMA).
- Experience with sustainability and energy management initiatives.
- Fluency in English. Spanish or Portuguese preferred but not compulsory.
