Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all bank accounts, domestic and foreign.
- Administer bank account setup, check testing, and setup of HTH connections.
- Handle banking requests, such as modifying signatory cards, online user entitlements, local encashment privileges, and certified check requests.
- Collaborate with Production Accounting teams to devise cash flow forecasts and support the funding process. Monitor and ensure bank balances are sufficient.
- Coordinate and manage the stop payment and outstanding check process between productions and corporate.
- Receive, process, track, and reconcile deposits and other receipts.
- Partner with corporate treasury, the offshore team, and productions to address issues concerning positive pay, stop payments, and clearing outstanding checks.
- Support manager in oversight of offshore team in reconciling bank accounts between the bank reports, location accounting system, and SAP.
- Execute SAP journal entries to record check stock, deposit adjustments.
- Support Manager in preparing quarterly insurance allocations and production expense accruals.
- Coordinate setup of bank accounts for direct deposit payroll, and educate production teams on corresponding workflow.
- Undertake ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
- Aptitude for new concepts and effective problem-solving.
- Profound knowledge of financial systems and banking.
- Robust project management skills and capability to work with significant autonomy.
- Expertise in MS Excel and familiarity with Airtable, Tableau, Global Vista, Smart Accounting, and SAP/S4 Hana.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization, including upper management.
- Analytical and enthusiastic about complex problem solving and analysis using financial applications, with a particular focus on advanced Excel skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of academic curiosity, and a focus on generating results.
- Exhibits the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
- Education: BA/BS degree with emphasis in Accounting/Finance
- Preferably 2 years of film and/or television industry finance or accounting experience
- Willingness to work extended hours if needed
- Must be willing to submit to background check
- Must have work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be willing to work in Culver City, CA
