Looking to put your short and long-term strategy planning skills into effect? Join us as a Plant Operations Manager here in Rome, GA, the leading Rice Krispies facility in North America. You’ll execute projects while keeping in mind people and quality food safety, continuous improvement, and timely product delivery. Located in the greater Atlanta area, our Rome plant believes in working with great people like you to accomplish our goals.

A Taste Of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Culture Ownership — Demonstrate and develop courage, integrity, accountability, and servant leadership in others. You’re responsible for owning the department culture, which includes safety and quality, and driving our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy.
  • Budget Planning – Participate in the business planning and budgeting process by developing short and long-term cost savings strategies.
  • People Development— Help our team grow and learn through coaching and developing leaders in continuous improvement processes while promoting skill-set enhancement, recognition, compatibility, and employee progression and readiness.
  • Driving Metrics – Build upon our success as you look to improve production, delivery, quality, cost, safety, and morale performance.
  • Lean Manufacturing— Be an active participant and leader in topics like Autonomous Maintenance and building a high-performance organization.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Minimum High School diploma/GED with significant experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with leading and applying lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and utilize the servant leadership approach while coaching, developing, and motivating others.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills with the proven ability to manage complex situations
  • Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
  • Collaborative work style, ability to partner with leaders of other functional areas and business partners to drive overall performance.
