Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Santa Clarita, United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve overall performance and productivity
- Manage and coordinate various departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
- Analyze and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Oversee project management activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success
- Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with overall business objectives
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Manage and mentor a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior management
- Identify and implement new technologies and systems to streamline operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial management
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Advanced knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth understanding of supply chain management principles
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
