Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. The Project Superintendent will work closely with subcontractors, clients, and project managers to ensure effective communication and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and laborers on-site.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Review contract documents and manage project changes.
- Interpret construction drawings and schematics to guide the build process effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and reports.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly to minimize delays.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Superintendent in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools and techniques.
- Experience working with contracts related to construction projects
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience in project layout and verification.
