Certified Medical Assistant

Position: Medical Assistant (MA)
Location: Grass Valley, CA
Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00 - $26.50
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Patient Support: Assist in delivering QEEG Neuro Therapy and other patient care activities.
• Documentation: Accurately record patient information and therapy progress in electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, including Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and Directors of Nursing.
• Education & Advocacy: Educate patients and families about the benefits of Neuro Therapy and other treatments.
• Administrative Tasks: Help manage clinic operations, including scheduling and inventory management.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years MA experience is required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program (certification preferred but not required).
• Active BLS Certification
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, iOS, and electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist in a dynamic clinical setting.
