Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team in providing exceptional maintenance and repair services for our fleet equipment. As a key member of our operations, you'll travel throughout Northern California, Oregon, and Washington states, working closely with our field teams to ensure the successful operation of our equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of fleet equipment.
- Identify mechanical problems using computer diagnostic equipment or visual inspection.
- Maintain records of time and materials used on each job, the condition of the equipment, and the repairs performed.
- Track information in computer software and conduct safety inspections of equipment.
- Participate in training programs and keep current with hazardous material training requirements.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills, working independently and without direct supervision. We're looking for someone with solid experience in general heavy truck repair, automotive repair, or equipment repair, or equivalent trade school/technical school time.
Requirements:
- Five years of experience in general heavy truck repair, automotive repair, or equipment repair (or equivalent trade school/technical school time).
- A valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) is desired but not required.
- Solid knowledge of design, adjustment, operation, maintenance, and repair of vehicles and equipment.
- Good understanding of applicable regulatory guidelines and rules.
