Admin Assistant - Nutrition Department

As the Admin Assistant for the Nutrition Department, you will provide customer service, data entry, and clerical support to the Nutrition department.

Schedule : This is a full-time, non-exempt (35 hour / week) position. Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 : 00 am -2 : 30 pm.

Compensation : Starting at $22 per hour

Job Activities

Key activities of the position are below. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Top Key Activities :

  • Respond to calls, emails, and voicemails to assist consumers, drivers, and site coordinators, escalating issues as needed.
  • Communicate with drivers and field staff to support delivery operations and resolve any issues during the day.
  • Enter data into WellSky A&D and Excel, ensuring program information and metrics are documented accurately.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, copying, menu counting, and processing Ensure supplement requests.
  • Assist managers with office support tasks and maintain proficiency in required systems and tools.
  • Other Activities :

  • Assist with dock coverage
  • Assist with delivering meals
  • Qualifications :

  • Associate degree or High School diploma with 1 year with relevant work experience. Work experience in a human service environment a plus
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient in the following platforms : Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, Zoom and other web-based application
  • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work effectively independently or as a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written, verbal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and accurate
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on assigned tasks
  • Good analytical skills
