Kindergarten at 576 Eastern Avenue

Job Summary
Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher for Grades 1–6 to deliver large-group instruction. Successful candidates will contribute to grade-level teams focused on improving instructional practices and supporting student achievement across all subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement rigorous curricula and engaging activities aligned to academic standards
Design and administer assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction
Use data to drive decisions and adapt instruction to meet student needs
Actively participate in collaborative curriculum development and grade-level initiatives
Maintain high behavioral and academic expectations, providing consistent consequences and recognition
Take ownership of student achievement and mastery of learning objectives
Communicate effectively and professionally with students, families, and colleagues
Engage in a comprehensive three-week summer staff orientation and training session
Qualifications:
A strong commitment to improving the lives and outcomes of students both in and out of the classroom
Demonstrated success and a proven track record of student achievement
Passion and deep content knowledge in History (or relevant academic subject)
