Facilities Maintenance Associate

Summary

We are seeking a Facilities Associate to join our team at Mytee Products, Inc. in Aurora, OH. This role is vital in maintaining our operational facilities and ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly. You will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products while supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facility equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Assist in the fabrication of products as needed, utilizing mechanical skills.
• Maintain warehouse infrastructure, including lighting, dock doors, and racking.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs.
• Provide support for light manufacturing tasks within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding facility-related issues when necessary.
• All other duties assigned.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with maintenance tasks.
• Ability to weld and perform basic electrical repairs.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and use of an Ohmmeter is a plus.
• Basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, drywall repair skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding of workplace safety regulations.
• Good communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members.
• Experience in customer service is beneficial but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders as required.
