Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions for DTC products, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and high-performance results.
- Configure and manage Salesforce Connect for seamless data integration and synchronization between SFCC and external systems.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Drive the development and optimization of eCommerce websites hosted on SFCC, focusing on user experience, site performance, and scalability.
- Oversee the configuration of product catalogs, product positioning, and other critical eCommerce functionalities within Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Manage the integration of third-party tools, payment gateways, and other applications to enhance eCommerce capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SFCC, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Stay current with the latest SFCC features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously enhance eCommerce capabilities.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5 years of experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), including configuration, customization, and integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Connect for real-time data integration between SFCC and external systems.
- Proven experience in implementing and optimizing DTC eCommerce solutions, particularly in a B2C environment.
- Solid background in web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with eCommerce platforms.
- Strong experience with product catalog management, product positioning, and configuration in SFCC.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), including Business Manager, Scripts, SFRA (Salesforce Reference Architecture), and data modeling.
- Experience in building and customizing storefronts, templates, and integrations using SFCC APIs.
- Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (SFCC Scripts, ISML templates).
- Familiarity with the integration of third-party applications, such as payment gateways, ERP systems, and marketing automation tools within SFCC.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and data integration techniques.
- Experience with SEO best practices for eCommerce websites.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and technical teams.
Preferred:
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Familiarity with additional Salesforce products, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, or Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Knowledge of UX/UI best practices for eCommerce websites and mobile-first design principles.
Work Environment:
- This is a fully remote role, with candidates required to reside in the Central or Eastern Time Zones.
- Quarterly travel may be required to meet with teams and clients.
