The Director of Finance will be responsible for leading the accounting department in matters related to accounting, financial reporting, corporate controls, financial analysis, forecasting business insurance risk management and working capital management in keeping with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- The Director will prepare reports to summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Oversee and manage all general ledger activity.
- Responsible for managing operational data and ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Develop operational procedures and documentation of data flow
- Develop system controls to ensure data integrity
- Assures internal control compliance
- Train staff on internal control procedures
- Substantiate and approve expenditures and expense reports
- Produce accurate and timely financial statements
- Lead the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation
- Assist in yearly audit preparation
- Assure safety standards are being utilized, and complies with all company, local, state, and federal guidelines
- Attend all Compliance Training Classes and abide by Compliance Policy and Procedure
- Exude exemplary customer service and consistently maintain a positive attitude
- Work with Management in annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting processes
- Ability to work with peers from various countries in a global setting of the parent company Aramex
- Special projects and other responsibilities may be determined and assigned by Management
- Responsible for managing the Senior Staff Accountant, AP Accountant and Senior FInancial Analyst
- BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent
- CPA Highly Preferred
- 5 years of background in Logistics, supply chain and e-commerce accounting
- Experience with SAP S4Hanna preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong supervisory and analytical skills
- Ability to work as a team player across departments and to adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Ability to follow and carry out instruction with excellent attention to detail

- Effective oral and written communication and can implement directions clearly
