Overview
N.E.W. Plastics is a family owned manufacturing plant in Luxemburg, WI that makes plastic bottles and containers. We also have a plant that manufactures plastic lumber.
This 2nd shift Process Technician position works Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm in our bottle/container division. The starting pay of $24.60/hour does include in it the $1.25/hour shift premium for hours worked on 2nd shift.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of process operations, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
- Monitor and control production processes to ensure optimal performance and quality standards are met.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Make all necessary adjustments and minor repairs to production machines to accomplish optimum machine efficiency.
- Perform setups and changeovers of production equipment based on established standards based on the product being run.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Process Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with process control systems and manufacturing software is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work potential overtime.
