Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will live in or nearby Pearland, Manvel, Iowa Colony, Arcola or Fresno. have a passion for sports and physical education, with the ability to inspire and motivate preschool age children. This role involves coaching various sports, including basketball, football, soccer, T-ball, cheer and others. A strong background in behavior management and childcare is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Follow a set curriculum for teaching sports programs.
- Focus on kids having fun, skill development and teamwork.
- Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Ensure a safe and positive environment during all training sessions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in working with children, preferably in sports.
- Strong knowledge of physical education principles and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to climb or engage in physical activities as required by specific sports.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children.
- A passion for promoting fitness, health, and well-being through sports.
- Must be able to work mornings and early afternoons.
