Position Summary:
The Solutions Analyst will be responsible for gathering client requirements, analyzing business needs, and designing technology solutions that meet client objectives. This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and quality control expertise. The Solutions Analyst will bridge the gap between clients and the development team, ensuring that proposed solutions are technically feasible and align with business goals. Additionally, they will serve as the first layer of quality control by validating solutions before client delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Analysis:
Conduct client interviews to understand business processes, pain points, and objectives.
Develop clear and concise business requirements documentation.
Advise clients on best practices for technology solutions, particularly within Salesforce and IT infrastructure.
Act as the primary liaison between clients and development teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Solution Scoping & Technical Feasibility:
Collaborate with the development team to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
Scope Salesforce and IT projects, including configurations, integrations, and custom development.
Draft high-level architecture diagrams and project roadmaps.
Work closely with the COO to align proposed solutions with broader business strategy.
Cost Estimation & Collaboration:
Partner with the Account Executive to assess project scope, size, and budget.
Develop and present cost estimates and timelines to clients.
Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent project alignment.
Quality Control & Validation:
Serve as the first layer of quality assurance by reviewing completed solutions against client requirements.
Test solutions to ensure they meet both functional and performance expectations.
Document and report any issues or discrepancies, working closely with developers to resolve them.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with clients and gather feedback for final adjustments.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and customization.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts, including networking, systems integration, and data management.
Ability to develop solution architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
Quality Assurance:
Experience in performing quality control checks and validating solutions before client delivery.
Strong attention to detail to ensure solutions align with business requirements and performance standards.
Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools to verify functionality and usability.
Business Acumen:
Proven ability to understand and align technical solutions with business objectives.
Experience analyzing business processes and identifying optimization opportunities.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Collaboration & Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with account executives to develop accurate project scopes and estimates.
Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2-5 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Business Analyst, Solutions Analyst, Technical Consultant).
Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and solution design preferred.
Familiarity with quality control or user acceptance testing (UAT) is a plus.
Familiarity with marketing technology or IT consulting environments is a plus.
