Position: Dialysis Tech

Shift: Full-Time Days/Evenings
Location: Temple, TX

Essential Functions of the Role:
- Measure and record vital signs before initiating patient treatment.
- Administer and record approved medications.
- Perform pre-dialysis, intradialytic, and post-dialysis checks as per policy.
- Administer local anesthesia when accessing hemodialysis grafts/fistulas.
- Assemble necessary equipment and supplies at each dialysis station.
- Set up and verify accurate functioning of all equipment.
- Interact with patients and staff professionally at all times.
Key Success Factors:
- General knowledge of Dialysis Care modalities, therapies, terminology, standards, medications, and equipment.
- Proficiency in the use of the unit's water treatment system.
- Ability to perform high-quality Dialysis procedures in compliance with established standards.
- Successful completion of dialysis training course within allotted timeframe.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.

Qualifications:
- Education: H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent.
- Experience: Less than 1 Year of Experience.
- Certification/License/Registration:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
- CERTDIAL or CCHT certification required within 18 months of hire.
