Job Title: Physical Therapist (Pediatrics)
Location: Juneau, AK
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
Relocation Bonus: $10,000
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and develop individualized therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Provide treatment to improve functional abilities, mobility, and quality of life.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and other designated staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and therapy techniques.
- Assist with acquiring and fitting durable medical equipment (DME).
- Maintain compliance with SEARHC policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in clinical meetings, training, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in pediatric physical therapy preferred, but not required.
