Job Title: Technical System Analyst (MS Dynamics)

About the Role:
The State of Michigan is seeking a skilled Technical System Analyst to join our team in Lansing. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, development, and enhancement of agency applications, specifically focusing on MS Dynamics 365, Azure, and related technologies. You will provide critical technical support, gather requirements, and ensure the smooth operation of our systems. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence two days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using MS Dynamics 365, Azure DevOps, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for web-based and client/server applications.
- Gather and analyze requirements, plan, design, test, and implement system enhancements.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for project management, source control, and CI/CD.
- Develop and maintain web portals and Power Apps/Power Pages solutions.
- Perform database management tasks using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Support infrastructure and network operations.
- Document system processes and procedures.
- Adhere to the State of Michigan System Engineering Methodology (SEM).
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of extensive experience with MS Dynamics 365.
- 5 years of experience with Azure DevOps and related Azure services.
- 5 years of experience in application support and troubleshooting (ASP.NET, HTML, etc.).
- 3-5 years of experience in web portal development.
- 1-3 years of database experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- 5 years of experience in infrastructure and network support.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Management Studio.
- Strong understanding of web services, AJAX, and jQuery.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps/Power Pages.
- Experience working with government agencies.
Location and Availability:
- Must reside within a two-hour commute of Lansing, MI.
- Must be available for hybrid work, including two days on-site per week.
- Must be available for both virtual and in person interviews.
