Overview
Nakupuna Solutions is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven, and security-minded candidate will provide Classified Document Control and Records Management support to a government agency in Arlington, VA. The candidate must have a strong background in classified materials handling, including accepting custody of, logging, storing, marking, disposing of, and packaging classified materials at the SECRET level. They must be customer-focused, punctual, proactive, collaborative, and flexible, with the ability to build strong working relationships with staff and customers at all levels.
Responsibilities

- Receive and electronically log all SECRET materials
- Accept custody of, log, store, mark, and dispose of classified materials in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
- Input information into the Security Information Management System (SIMS)
- Prepare necessary route sheets, receipts, and labels using an electric typewriter
- Package (double wrap) all outgoing SECRET material
- Siprnet Medial Removal processing
- Maintain files containing incoming/outgoing receipts
- Maintain internal signature receipts
- Photocopy necessary materials
- Maintain repository of classified documents
- Handle and track documents from arrival to when they leave via destruction or transfer
- Assist Security Division Staff with inventories and the production of badges or ID cards
- Verify identification and use the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS)/Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System
- Use RAPIDS to issue Common Access Cards (CACs), update database information, and reset Personal Identification Numbers (PINs)
- Provide SIPRNET Local Registration Authority (LRA) support; the LRA is an individual that assists Users that need to reset their token PIN either through a digitally signed email or an in-person visit; the LRA will authenticate the identity of the User and enable a PIN reset of the User’s token
- Assist in managing and maintaining the Emergency Alert Notification System
- Provide backup support for the Mailroom Clerk, Duplicating Machine Operator, and Driver/Courier, as needed
Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
- Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Possess a working knowledge of (1) SIMS or (2) other automated information system
- Possess a working knowledge of DEERS and RAPIDS
- Possess experience accepting custody of, logging, storing, marking, and disposing of classified documents in accordance with NISPOM
Education and Experience:
- Possess either (1) an Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Classified Document Control Clerk or (2) a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Classified Document Control Clerk
- Possess a current valid driver’s license
- Possess an acceptable driving record as evidenced by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check
Clearance Requirements: Must currently have a DoD SECRET security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
This federal government project is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA). The hourly rate for this position is determined by the location where work is performed. In addition to hourly pay, positions subject to SCA are entitled to a health and welfare (H&W) payment, which may be adjusted based employee selection of company benefits in lieu of H&W.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
