Overview
Provide technical and functional expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) deployments in addition to coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to identify, plan, track, and facilitate deployment related tasks for major deployments and releases, PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Update Manager upgrades, annual tax updates, etc.
Responsibilities

- Analyze deployment needs to determine functional, cross-functional, technical, and security tasks that need to be tracked and coordinated
- Author deployment plans along with technical implementation guides to be referenced and followed during deployments, PT/PUM upgrades, annual tax updates, etc.
- Develop and manage pre-deployment, deployment, and post deployment checklists
- Interact with business customers (internal and external) to understand and document their deployment processes
- Contribute to the development, review, and maintenance of contract deliverables and project documentation
- Communicate effectively both written and verbally with team members, customers, and stakeholders
- Work with customers, users and project leads in analyzing, implementing and supporting HR and Payroll and Payroll Accounting business applications and systems
- Develop agendas, status reports, document and distribute meeting minutes, track action items and risks, and facilitate meetings
- Perform business process analysis and offer recommendations for customization versus configuration
- Effectively contribute to technical deployment discussions
- Develop strong relationships with business users in Sustainment, Deployment, Configuration Management, and Systems Engineering
- Successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications: PeopleSoft experience, Phire Architect experience, ERP experience, knowledge of Jira/Confluence, Planning, Database Management, Self-Motivated, Presenting Technical Information, Problem Solving, Data Modeling, Strategic Planning, Multi-tasking, Ad Hoc Reporting, Data Maintenance, Exceptional Oral and Written Communication Skills.
Education and Experience: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution as well as a minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in the industry. Experience in or work for the U.S. military or Department of Defense is also highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also have experience with the following:
- PeopleSoft implementation experience
- Phire Architect experience
- ERP experience
- Working closely with technical teams to translate functional specifications into technical solutions
- Knowledge of Jira/Confluence
- Knowledge of Integration points to and from PeopleSoft HCM & FSCM systems
Clearance: A background investigation at the T3 level is required, as this is not currently a classified position. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Work Schedule: Hybrid work schedule, going in office 2 days a week.
