Nabors is seeking a seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Management & Controls Product Manager to join our Energy Transition team to oversee the continued success and road map of our decarbonization technologies with focus on rig electrification, battery solutions and efficient drilling power management. This role is responsible for growth of the existing portfolio, design, development, and optimization of power management and control systems to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and safety of drilling operations globally.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 7 years of experience in power management and control systems
- Good understanding of electrical products and technologies, especially VDFs and switchgear products
- Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, and power distribution systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC, NEC, and API regulations.
- Understanding business basics including revenue projections, business metrics and financial planning, as well as pricing.
Presentation Skills:
- Ability to be persuasive in front of customers, partners, industry influencers, competitors, policymakers
- Fluent in English, bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Experience in working with cross functional teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Experience of working within a matrix organization
- Translation of technical features into commercial messaging
- Experience in working in a comparable marketing / product management role Relevant industry/sector experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is highly preferred
- Knowledge of drilling operations and drilling equipment
- Experience in power systems or energy grid knowledge is required for the role
- Product management methodologies and experience with product lifecycle management Data analysis skills to interpret market trends and customer feedback

Key Responsibilities:
Product Development and Market Expansion:
- Manage and support existing product portfolio through the entire product life cycle and contribute to the successful sales of the products to the defined target markets globally
- Selection, design and technical development, testing and validation of products fitting the need of the defined target markets
- Market gap & product fit analysis
- Competitive analysis of supported product ranges
- Price positioning versus competitors on the local market
- High involvement in market intelligence projects for the relevant products in cooperation with the sales team and relevant BU teams
- Define service offering for the supported products together with the field service team
- Define a product support process in the target markets and if needed, different levels of product support
- Develop and execute an action plan in cooperation with the local sales team to grow product sales (target specific customers, markets, channel, value prop) Participation in local standard groups/associations
Asset Management:
- Responsible for managing fleet assets, utilization rate, and R&M
- Ensure product margins and profitability is maintain thru cost optimization initiatives, enhancements, etc. Vendor relationship management
Sales & Marketing:
- Content validation and creation in cooperation with marketing and communications teams (web content including SEO, marketing collaterals, videos, web content, emails, social media etc.)
- Develop and support execution of product pricing
- Prepare for and participate in customer & channel digital and physical events (key-note speeches, presentations & technical product support)
- Sales and partner enablement: validation, creation and delivery of technical trainings to sales teams, partners and customers
- Support specific projects or negotiations together with sales/account manager team (to improve win-rate etc.)
- Be the spokesperson in the media for the supported products. Both owned and earned media, including written press (blog articles, interviews) and video or audio appearance.
- Regular internal communication on the supported products
- Customer visits with sales team for various purposes from VoC, trainings to offer specific technical support.
- Product spec and brand building for target markets
