We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering top-notch grooming services to our clients. Your expertise in pet care and customer service will help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling for various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require veterinary attention.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options.
• Handle pets safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming sessions.
• Lift and manage large or heavy animals as needed, ensuring a safe environment for both the groomer and the pet.
• Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best care possible.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary technician or kennel work is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of animal behavior, handling techniques, and basic pet care practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple animals.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
• Familiarity with animal restraint methods to ensure safety during grooming sessions.
• A background in equine care is a plus but not required.
• Passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
