Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Collaborate with team members to set up 1099 forms for subcontractors and ensure other required end-of-year documentation is completed accurately
- Handle daily check writing and maintain accurate financial records
- Manage office operations, including coordinating and supervising administrative tasks to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Supervise and support office staff, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
- Maintain and update office systems, including managing office supplies, equipment, and services to ensure smooth operations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to streamline workflow and increase operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and organizational standards
- Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis to help inform company decision-making
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a co-manager role while also being able to work independently
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite
- Experience with QuickBooks and general office equipment (fax machine, printer/copier, postage meter, etc.)
- Comfortable working with and understanding databases
- Ability to learn new skills and adapt to changing office needs
- Experience with social media is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude
