What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commissioning Manager - Biotechnoloty position at Naderi Engineering, Inc.?
The successful candidate shall provide comprehensive Commissioning Management Services, acting as Client's designated Owner’s Representative for Facilities Capital Projects. The Supplier is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the commissioning process to ensure alignment with Client's objectives, operational requirements, and quality standards. These services shall include, but are not limited to, design review for commissioning readiness, development and execution of commissioning plans, monitoring and validation of system performance, oversight of pre-functional and functional testing, and ensuring compliance with Good Engineering Practices (GEPs) as outlined in this Scope of Services. The specific tasks include but not limited to the following :
Phase Design
Participate in design review, including OPR, BOD, and plans / specifications review.
Develop the Commissioning (Cx) Plan and protocols in alignment with LEED / ASHRAE Cx requirements.
Review design documents for start-up feasibility and alignment with Good Engineering Practices (GEPs).
Ensure Master Commissioning Specifications are captured in the General Specifications for project
Phase Construction
Refine the commissioning plan based on updated project details.
Coordinate and run daily Cx meetings as needed.
Identify and document commissioning requirements in contractor scopes of work.
Monitor construction progress to ensure commissioning requirements are met.
Conduct pre-functional checks for systems and equipment.
Witness construction activities related to Cx deliverables.
Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV)
Manage the Cx schedule activities of functional testing
Coordinate and oversee performance verification activities.
Maintain attention to detail and good communication skills to resolve and escalate issues to PM team throughout project execution.
Coordinate with project management on Commissioning Schedule.
Handover and Closeout
Oversee the completion and organization of project TOP Matrix and post-approval commissioning (non-GMP and GMP binders).
Ensure system turnover by verifying the completion of all documentation and verifying comprehensive training for operations and maintenance teams has occurred.
Provide initial performance monitoring and support operational readiness.
Ensure Commissioning Issues are addressed during Warranty Period
