• Job Summary:*The College of Social Work (CoSW) is seeking applicants for Student Affairs Officer III (Pre-Practicum Coordinator) in our Field Education unit.
  
  

The Pre-Practicum Coordinator identifies and prepares students who must complete practicum courses to fulfill degree requirements. The coordinator manages student processes and monitors student readiness to satisfy practicum course enrollment criteria. The coordinator involves liaising between students and practicum sites to identify student placements. Communication, data tracking, and collaboration underpin the responsibilities needed to ensure students and practicum sites meet the educational objectives and accreditation standards of the UK College of Social Work and the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

Preferred Education/Experience

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or related discipline preferred
• proficient in managing databases and tracking systems related to student placement
• prior experience as a practicum (or experiential learning) supervisor of students
