Are you a versatile Architect or Designer looking to make your mark on the Washington, DC region’s vibrant urban and suburban landscapes? Join our award-winning boutique firm and work on an exciting array of projects that shape the city's retail, dining, and commercial spaces!

Who We Are:

We're a small Architecture & Design firm known for our innovative designs in retail, restaurants, and commercial developments. Our portfolio includes collaborations with national chains, critically acclaimed local restaurants, and high-profile commercial projects. We pride ourselves on our creative, collaborative approach and our ability to deliver exceptional results for our diverse clientele.

The Role:

As a mid-level architect/designer, you'll be involved in all phases of our projects, from conceptual design through construction administration. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with firm leadership to:

  • Guide place-making & ground floor retail design opportunities for mixed-use / commercial developments.
  • Contribute to cutting-edge retail, restaurant, and commercial designs.
  • Work with National Clients on regional rollouts.
  • Collaborate with award-winning chefs and restauranteurs on unique dining concepts.
  • Participate on conceptual design proposals and make material & finish selections.
  • Have direct contact with Clients and take responsibility for project deliverables.
  • Work with contractors throughout the construction of projects you’ve designed and permitted.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5 years of experience, with a focus on retail/restaurant/commercial design. Although retail or hospitality experience is preferred, lacking this exposure will not preclude strong candidates from being considered.
  • Strong technical proficiency in construction documentation.
  • Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
  • Exceptional design skills and a professional portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to take on diverse responsibilities, including project management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Architecture or Interior Design (Master's preferred for Architects).
  • Professional license or on track for licensure.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship need.

Why Join Us:

  • Work on high-profile projects that shape the region’s urban, suburban, and surrounding environment.
  • Collaborative, mentorship-focused team culture.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401k, twice annual bonus opportunities, and profit sharing.
  • Support for professional development and licensing.
  • Work-life balance with paid time off and holidays.
