The Role:
As a mid-level architect/designer, you'll be involved in all phases of our projects, from conceptual design through construction administration. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with firm leadership to:
- Guide place-making & ground floor retail design opportunities for mixed-use / commercial developments.
- Contribute to cutting-edge retail, restaurant, and commercial designs.
- Work with National Clients on regional rollouts.
- Collaborate with award-winning chefs and restauranteurs on unique dining concepts.
- Participate on conceptual design proposals and make material & finish selections.
- Have direct contact with Clients and take responsibility for project deliverables.
- Work with contractors throughout the construction of projects you’ve designed and permitted.
What We're Looking For:
- 5 years of experience, with a focus on retail/restaurant/commercial design. Although retail or hospitality experience is preferred, lacking this exposure will not preclude strong candidates from being considered.
- Strong technical proficiency in construction documentation.
- Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
- Exceptional design skills and a professional portfolio.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Adaptability and eagerness to take on diverse responsibilities, including project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Architecture or Interior Design (Master's preferred for Architects).
- Professional license or on track for licensure.
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship need.
