Nakupuna Consulting is seeking an On-Site Project Manager for MCAS Yuma & MCAGCC 29 Palms to oversee the implementation of WLAN infrastructure modernization, including controller deployment, AP refresh, and expansion. The Site Project Manager will collaborate with technical engineers and the Program Manager, ensuring the project aligns with time, budget, and quality standards of Nakupuna Companies.

The projected compensation range for this position is $102,580.00 to $146,395.00 (annualized USD). - Support site surveys and client engagements at USMC installations on the west coast of the United States to identify and document the current network infrastructure installed to ensure the technical solution meets the customer requirements and schedule
- Manage all project deliverables and schedules associated with the installation, configuration, and information assurance of a major network expansion and modernization
- Manage communications with local stakeholders and represent the Nakupuna Companies with clients and subcontractors
- Support the Engineering team in implementing the technical solutions for new and existing clients by scheduling, managing customer expectations, and working to clear delivery hurdles
- Provide feedback to the Program Manager on risk, schedule impacts, mitigations, and resolutions
- Maintain accurate project schedules, plans, communications plans, risk registers, and other project related documentation
- Lead wireless infrastructure deployment for Yuma, Arizona and Twentynine Palms, California, managing WLAN refresh, expansion, and new controller installation.
- Coordinate with 1NB/3NB, Base S6/G6, and Public Works to secure necessary approvals.
- Manage installation teams to ensure adherence to USMC wireless security, performance, and redundancy requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to TR capacity, structured cabling upgrades, and RF interference.

Education and Experience:
- BS degree in Technology, Management, or related field is preferred.
- 7 years' experience in managing telecommunications and IT projects, with specific experience in DoD and USMC environments is preferred.
- Proven experience delivering solutions to government clients, with a focus on USMC organizational structure and operations on the West Coast.
- Familiarity with the USMC's organizational hierarchy, command structure, and operational protocols, particularly those pertinent to technology and communications infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and effectively operate within the USMC's unique cultural and procedural landscape.
Certification Requirement:
- Project Management Professional level industry certification - PMP preferred or equivalent.
