Nalu Federal, LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support the Military and Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at Barksdale Air Force Base. This position is part of the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) and plays a key role in supporting military personnel and their families as they prepare for civilian transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain TAP-related workshop data in AFFIRST.
- Update DD Form 2648 checklists in milConnect following Pre-Separation Briefings and five-day Transition Workshops.
- Maintain accountability statistics for the Transition Assistance Program.
- Create and manage daily sign-up sheets for TAP classes and workshops.
- Contact participants via email and phone to confirm attendance.
- Assist with scheduling, front desk operations, and classroom setup.
- Issue and collect government laptops for instructional use.
- Track informal visits and calls in AFFIRST daily.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance with the Privacy Act, and secure handling of client information.
- Minimum of 6 months of data entry experience in an office or administrative environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with internet-based databases and basic office automation tools.
- Strong communication skills-both oral and written.
- Ability to plan, organize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with diverse groups in a professional environment.
- Knowledge of military culture, support systems, or protocol is a plus.
