Job Summary
The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process for Nalu's product portfolio, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of requisite products and services. This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the company's operational and financial goals. The role places high value in an individual's ability to make technical decisions and prioritize effectively; leading by example and acting as a player-coach role model demonstrating Nalu's company values. This is an onsite position located in the Corporate Office in Carlsbad, CA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials and assemblies required for Nalu's medical devices. Make decisions that consider internal & external constraints and needs of other groups with the ability to communicate those strategies vertically and horizontally across the organization.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve optimal value. Ability to independently represent Nalu's business interests to external suppliers and entities.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders- including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs- to align procurement and inventory activities with business needs. Create bridges across teams to improve product deliverables and elevate the technical standard of the Operations department.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for management review. Ability to extract and interpret inventory transactions to derive business intelligence applicable to optimize Operations department performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
Qualifications :
Pay Range : $100,000 - $120,000 per year
